St. Sophia Orthodox Christian Mission - Inviting Central Oregon to discover the deep spirituality of Eastern Orthodox Christianity

An Ancient Path of Healing for People in a Modern World

Whether you are an Orthodox Christian, or looking for a deeper Christian experience, or a spiritual seeker, or just curious, or you just stumbled onto this website… You are welcome here!

We are an English-speaking Orthodox Christian mission parish with an emphasis on joyful, beautiful, peaceful, and prayerful worship in true community. We are family-oriented and kid-friendly!

Our Orthodox Mission is for all and is one of Central Oregon's link to the still-living Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church and the ancient path of profound Christian spirituality, embracing mystery, the ancient, the transcendent, and the sacred. We follow the True Faith and Holy Tradition handed down from generation to generation from the time of the Apostles. Our emphasis is mystical communion with Christ, drawing both people and creation into participation with God's very life, thereby becoming truly and fully human.

We are a growing and vibrant community worshipping together at:
